HOW CAN I HELP CAPITAL CITY JUDO CLUB?
Club Duties & Fundraising
Thanks to our dedicated instructors, who are all volunteers and donate their time and efforts, we are able to provide quality instruction in the art and sport of Judo at a minimum fee to students of all ages.
In order for our club to continue to prosper, we are asking all members to commit to supporting Capital City Judo in at least ONE of the following ways each year:
2 . FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION: In lieu of taking on a club duty, members may choose to contribute $100 (or more), in addition to their
regular monthly club dues. These funds will go directly towards the operational costs of running Capital City Judo.
3. FUNDRAISING: In lieu of taking on a club duty or personal contribution to Capital City Judo, members may choose to seek out donations
amounting to a minimum of $100. These funds will go directly towards the operational costs of running Capital City Judo.

- PERFORM A CLUB DUTY: Sign up to perform one of the numerous duties that are essential to keeping our club running. Information on many of these jobs can be found within the pages of this handbook. There are a variety of Club Duties, ranging from weekly to monthly tasks, to suit your interest.

CLUB DUTY DESCRIPTIONS:
Please let your instructor know which of the following jobs your family is willing to take on for this year. There is a poster sign-up in the dojo, as well.
Mat Cleaning: (2 individuals)Help keep our dojo clean and safe for all member by mopping the mats. Mats will need to be cleaned once every two weeks.
Website Development:

Vacuuming: (2 individuals)Help keep our dojo clean. Come 15 minutes earlier than the start of the first evening class and vacuum the entryway. Vacuuming will need to be done once every two weeks.
Gi Coordinator: (1 individual)Keep track of gi inventory and sales at the dojo, and order new gis, as needed. The Gi Coordinator will also be responsible for organizing gis at the dojo, for easy access. This will be an ongoing position throughout the year.
T-Shirt/Sweatshirt Coordinator:
(2individuals) Keep track of t-shirts/sweatshirts inventory and sales at the dojo, and make more, as needed, using the club’s t-shirt press. These coordinators will also be responsible for organizing gear at the dojo, for easy access. This will be an ongoing position throughout the year.

Garbage: (l individual)Remove and dispose of garbage from the dojo on a weekly basis. This will be an ongoing position throughout the year.
Volunteer Coordinator: (1 individual)
Oversees Club Duty positions and volunteers, to ensure volunteer follow-through. Sends out email reminders, as necessary.
